Skip to content- Turn on the Android device.
- Turn on the Bluetooth GPS receiver. It’s normal for it to take a few minutes to initially acquire position.
- Enable Bluetooth on your tablet by swiping from the top and tapping the Bluetooth icon.
- Long hold the Bluetooth icon, and pair the Bluetooth GPS receiver to the tablet.
- Open Settings > Security and allow installation from unknown sources.
- Download a file manager such as ES File Explorer and install it.
- Download this APK file to the tablet.
- Once done, open the file manager app and browse to the downloads folder.
- Select the file you downloaded above and choose Install.
- Accept any security warnings that pop up.
- Open settings, “About”. Tap on the build number quickly until “You’re now a developer” message shows up.
- Press the back button and enter developing options.
- Choose select mock location app, and choose “Bluetooth GPS”.
- Run the Bluetooth GPS app, and follow any steps needed to configure it.
- The tablet now has GPS signal from the external receiver!
