This is navigation laptop is a cheap 12 inch chartplotter, loaded with marine charts! It’s the largest unit with a rotating screen I have available. Touch screen is an available (and very popular) option on this model, and I recommend it. Unlike the 10 inch units, it’s not waterproof. If you need a rotating screen unit, and a rugged metal unit, you should get the midrange 10. For a similar larger unit without touch screen and rotating screen, check out the midrange 14.
You can add almost ALL of the upgrades and options to this model except for DVD, and backlit keyboard. This unit has the unusual ability to accept a second internal battery for only $50.
