The premium 10 is the more powerful brother of the midrange 10. It has faster hardware, and an even brighter outdoor viewable display. It’s definitely suitable for running software other than navigation, if needed. It’s got a rotating screen, and touch is an available (and recommended) option on this model. You can use it outside in the elements, it’s a full rugged metal waterproof unit. If you want a bigger unit with similar capabilities without a rotating display, there’s always the premium 13. If you like the rotating screen, but don’t need a waterproof unit, take a look at the premium 12. This is probably the units you’d get on a smaller boat if cost is not a major consideration. You can add almost ALL of the upgrades and options to this model except for DVD. Below, I suggest some common packages that people order at different price ranges. You can configure the unit as you please, and I will customize it to your particular needs. Every system is built just for you! Please contact me with any questions, or to order your system. Being a convertible tablet, this can be mounted with a mount like this, or to right to the railing with this one in tablet mode.

Why choose a navigation laptop?
My systems can be much more affordable than Garmin, Lowrance, Simrad, B&G, Furuno, Humminbird, Raymarine, Si-Tex and will be supported forever! Furthermore, I’m inclined to argue that some of the commercial chart plotter brands gouge their customers. Companies force clients to upgrade by no longer supporting older units. In addition, they charge exorbitant fees for simple things like a bigger screen size. Take a look at other advantages as well.
